Our millionth visitors

One in a Million Milestone

On June 24, Hannah and Zachary Lutz from Red Lion, along with their grandfather Donald Baker from Mount Joy, became the millionth visitors to Hands-on House. To mark this special occasion they were presented with a gift basket filled with Lancaster County family favorites and a million year membership to Hands-on House.

A million visitors, wow! One million people have walked through our doors into a world of learning through play. They left with a million painted faces, a million smiles and a million reasons to come back. To commemorate this important milestone, Hands-on House is hosting a summer-long celebration with the theme One In A Million. All summer we are featuring fun programs and activities, give-a-ways, special photo opportunities and surprises for museum members and non-members alike.

Throughout the summer, we will offer special One In A Million drop in programs that will teach kids how much a million really is as they travel under the sea, up in space and back in time.

As a special thank you to our members, each time a member child visits this summer, he or she will have a chance to win a special one in a million t-shirt. This opportunity is only available to members.
